82 Repair & Renovation Guide In many cases, the seismic activity in a building results in causing smaller or larger damage in interior or exterior linings of various materials (tiles, marbles, stones, granite, decorative bricks, etc.). These damages may be related to cracks or detachments of the lining elements, as well as disintegrations of the connecting joints of its elements.
