Small damage is damage limited to a small area and/or depth. Usually, it does not adversely affect the area around it, especially if it is repaired immediately, and by using the appropriate products. There are exceptions when that small damage is associated with leaks or moisture penetration. In such cases, special attention should be given because it is very possible for that small damage to grow rapidly and if left untreated, to cause multiple problems in the structure element where its located, but also to the surrounding areas as well. Small damage occurs very often in a building. Their restoration should be a standard practice and part of the regular maintenance. As with any damage, there is a reason that has caused it. That reason must necessarily be located and treated with priority before any other repair. In this section, we will call this type of repair as ‘small repair’. Depending on the type of the element, and whether it is structural or not, the type of the surface, the location in the building, and other factors, we will include all small damage in the following categories: ...SMΧΡAΩLLΜRΑEPAIRS & PATCHING UP!
