After 2 to 3 days have passed from the application completion (depending on the ambient conditions), and the product has fully cured and dried, it’s time to enhance the surface protection. On interior vertical surfaces, it is recommended to apply the matte varnish DECOFIN AQUA. On interior or exterior surfaces, it is recommended to apply the matte varnish VISTA, while where there is particular stress, such as floors, apply the 2 component polyurethane matt varnish DECOFIN POLYURETHANE or the water-soluble 2 component polyurethane matt varnish DECOFIN AQUA PU (ideal for indoor ventilation as it is odorless). For indoor surfaces where hygiene is a high requirement (bathrooms, washbasins, kitchen benches) it is recommended to apply the two-component epoxy varnish with gloss finish DECOFIN EPOXY SF or two-component epoxy varnish with satin finish DECOFIN EPOXY AQUA. To maintain and protect the selected color(s) and prevent DS-259 DECO MICRO RESIN from getting a significantly darker shade, it is best to apply the micromolar primer AQUAFIX of DUROSTICK before applying the protective varnish.
