The vision and goal of the founder, Mr. Nikolaos Choulis, was -and still is- the growth of the business with a leading position in product development and manufacturing, with respect for humans and the environment. CONSUMPTION STATISTICS • In the last few years 362.895.200m2 wall and floor tiles have been installed with the adhesives and grouts of DUROSTICK. • Also 41.475.150m2 of surface have been waterproofed, painted and sealed with our respective products. • 103.500 tons of building-improving additives as well as 21.500 tons of special products have fortified/enhanced thousands of construction projects. • Since 2011, 1.422.100m2 of surface have been coated and decorated with DUROSTICK microcements.

8 Fig. 1,2,3: CONTESSINA HOTEL is an exclusive spot in Zakynthos. For its expansion, a wide range of DUROSTICK products were selected and applied, including waterproofing and repair materials. The building was also insulated using the certified Thermoseal external thermal insulation system, significantly enhancing its energy efficiency. As part of its continuous upgrade, renovation, and renewal of interior and exterior spaces, DUROSTICK played a key role in the quality and aesthetic enhancement of the premises. The ideal choice for the building’s energy upgrade was the complete DUROSTICK External Thermal Insulation System (ETICS), THERMOSEAL, certified under the European standard ETAG 004 with certification numbers EOTA: ETA-13/0006 and EOTA: ETA-13/0007. The products used, in order of application, included DUROSTICK’s DS-255 quartz primer. For the adhesion of the insulation boards, the top choice was DUROSTICK’s fiber-reinforced adhesive ULTRACOLL THERMO.
