DUROSTICK D-40 Fiber-reinforced scratch/base coat plaster Ready-mixed, base coat plaster without lime, suitable for plastering and scratch coat, just by adding water. Provides consistent quality and high durability (its strength is measured double when compared to traditional plasters). Apply it on wall surfaces made of brick, cement blocks and concrete. It creates a suitable substrate for the application of topcoat plasters, such as D-41, the colored and water repellent plasters, HYDROSTOP DS-74 and DS-75, and the flexible plaster HYDROSTOP PLASTER ELASTIC of DUROSTICK. Apply the plaster by using a gauging trowel and a hawk or with a plastering machine. Classified GP: CSIV/Wc1 per ΕΝ 998-1. Color: gray. It has high adhesive strength, and presents resistance to abrasion, moisture and extreme weather conditions. It does not burst or crack like conventional plasters do. It absorbs water only up to 1% of its weight, in contrast to ordinary plasters, wherein the water absorption reaches 15%. Apply it on wall surfaces made of bricks, cement blocks or concrete that have been prepared with scratch and base (brown) coat plaster or with D-40 base/scratch coat plaster, after allowing 5-10 days of curing time. Suitable for both interior and exterior use. Classified GP: CSIII/Wc2 per EN 998-1. Color: white. Consumption: Approximately 5kg/m²/3mm thick coat. 25kg (037256) pal. 1500kg 60 DUROSTICK DS-255 Quartz-based acrylic grip primer for mortars, without solvents Ready for use, solvent-free, and of special acrylic base primer with quartz aggregates, fortified with improving additives. Distinguished for its strong adhesion, even on very smooth surfaces. It has excellent resistance to alkalis. It acts as a moisture barrier, thus protecting the building from damage, without blocking its water vapour permeability (breathability). Necessary on surfaces where traditional scratch coat plaster adheres with difficulty, such as the surfaces of extruded or expanded polystyrene installed on building facades for thermal insulation purposes. Ideal also as a primer before the application of D-6 cement mortar in THERMAL INSULATION AND WATERPROOFING SYSTEM for roofs, COOL ROOF. Also suitable before the installation of the microcements DS-250 and DS-254 IRON as an efficient grip coating, onto existing tiles, marble or mosaic and DS-252 FLEX on marine plywood floors or thoroughly cleaned sheet metal. Also suitable for substrates with radiant heating systems. Color: brick red.
